Georgia State House District 164

Alicia is a progressive activist running to bring real change to Savannah. She was the regional field director of Georgia for the Bernie Sanders campaign in 2016. She has been a featured op-ed writer for the Savannah Herald newspaper and Savannah's Well FED magazine and is a volunteer host on Savannah’s local community radio station, WRUU 107.5 FM. If elected in November, Alicia's top priorities will be protecting the salt marshes and opposing offshore oil drilling that could destroy them, creating policies that remove roadblocks to sustainable industry in the region, and reforming state ethics laws to create real punishments for elected officials who violate the law. In addition to being endorsed by MoveOn members in the district, Alicia has also been endorsed by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee.

"Alicia is a civic-minded citizen, community worker, and honest individual that I think would be a good representative for District 164. She has a good work ethic, is organized, and works well with others. District 164 needs someone of her caliber to lead their district." –Linda from Savannah
