Chuy García has been fighting for progressive change in Chicago for decades. He was first elected alderman in 1986 as an ally of former progressive mayor Harold Washington. He’s been an advocate for the poor and working class as a state senator and Cook County commissioner. And he ran an inspired campaign for mayor in 2015 with the support of MoveOn members across Chicago

"Chuy has a proven record of fighting for progressive change and taking on corporate Democrats in the pocket of Big Business. He believes in protecting people and our planet, not the profits of a wealthy few."—Daniel from Chicago
