Andrew Janz is a deputy district attorney in Fresno County and has dedicated his entire life to upholding the Constitution and protecting the Central Valley. He has risen quickly through the ranks of the district attorney’s office, and his most recent assignment was to the Violent Crimes Unit. Raised by immigrant parents in Visalia, he has lived and understands the American dream. Andrew’s father worked in local food processing plants, and his mother worked in a local hospital. Andrew became a public servant because of his late father’s influence. Andrew’s father was a Peace Corps volunteer in the late 1970s and early 1980s and was stationed to Southeast Asia. Andrew’s humble upbringing allowed him to go from serving burgers at McDonald’s to serving justice as a deputy DA. He graduated from Redwood High School in 2002 and has spent most of his life in the 22nd Congressional District. He is not a politician and has never run for office. Andrew is a concerned taxpayer who’s tired of seeing his region left behind by corrupt politicians on both sides of the aisle. Andrew is committed to tackling the water crisis in the Central Valley, protecting Medicare, and providing a path to citizenship for Dreamers.
