Ben has worked on the forefront of technological innovation. He has over 20 years of software development experience and, in fact, created some of the first websites and apps launched worldwide. He is the grandson of Chinese immigrants who helped engineer the original MARTA rail. Ben would be the first Democrat elected in over 30 years and the first Asian American and open member of the LGBT community to serve on the currently homogeneous board. In addition to MoveOn, Ben has been endorsed by Georgia Advancing Progress PAC, Reappropriate, Q magazine, Georgia Stonewall Democrats, Grassroots Gwinnett, and Run for Something.
"Ben stands for issues that are important for Gwinnett County to continue to prosper: MARTA expansion and minority inclusion." –Yvonne from Lilburn
