Cara McClure is an entrepreneur, activist, and community organizer who advocates on behalf of poor and marginalized communities. She has organized for workers’ rights and the fight for increased wages in Birmingham. If elected in November, she would be the first Black person ever elected to the PSC. Cara has a deep passion for helping and standing up for people who are considered low-income and therefore are underrepresented and marginalized. She believes that by acting in the best interest of them, we can elevate the quality of life for all people.
