Diane is a former two-term Routt County commissioner and former three-term Colorado House representative known for walking the talk, standing up for her constituents, and working across the aisle for practical solutions. Diane’s record shows that she has consistently fought for the people, the economy, and the environment of rural Colorado to get things done. Her experiences as a social science policy researcher and professor, a rural mountain community advocate for over 25 years, and an elected official for 12 years have helped her understand that renewable energy, job creation, economic vitality, and a clean environment are all interconnected.
