Emily is a community activist and health care advocate. Born and raised on the Kitsap Peninsula, Emily is running for state Senate because she wants to put aside partisan politics and bring people together to put the people of the 26th District first. She is an education advocate who has been engaged in the community for decades. She was the first of her family to attend a four-year college and has worked to expand access to affordable health care for women, kids, and the LGBTQ community across the country since her graduation.
