Attorney General, Arizona

January Contreras has a long history of standing up for all Arizonans. After serving as a county and state prosecutor, January went on to found Arizona Legal Women and Youth Services (ALWAYS), an organization that provides legal services for vulnerable women and children. January is a proven progressive who will be a fierce advocate for the issues that matter to Arizonans, including making health care affordable, passing commonsense gun control, and protecting immigrant communities. She has been endorsed by Emily's List, Democracy for America, Human Rights Campaign, Democratic Attorneys General of America, and Latino Victory Fund, among many others. And as the first Latina candidate for attorney general in the history of Arizona, she would help usher in a new era of progressive politics in Arizona if elected.

"January is the most qualified candidate for Arizona attorney general that we have had in years. She will be a fair and just AG. Arizona needs her. It's time for real accountability in an office that has lacked it for some time."—Patrick from Phoenix
