Georgia State House District 108
Jasmine believes that access to affordable health care is a right. She believes that Medicaid must be expanded in the state of Georgia and that it would be critical to improving the health of Georgians. She is passionate about ending gun violence and believes that licensing of guns should be mandated, the minimum age for purchasing a gun should be raised to 21 for all guns, and that loopholes that allow people to avoid background checks should be closed. As the progressive candidate in the race, Jasmine is stepping up to be a powerful voice for the residents of Georgia state House District 108. In addition to being endorsed by MoveOn members in the district, Jasmine has also been endorsed by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, #VOTEPROCHOICE, and Georgia’s Win List, and she is a Moms Demand Action "Gun Sense Candidate."
