Lorie is a long-time resident of Collin County who attended Shepton High School and Plano Senior High. Lorie and her family relocated to Plano after spending two exciting years in Jakarta, Indonesia, where she attended eighth and ninth grades at Jakarta International School. Lorie says that living in a third-world country, predominantly Muslim, and attending school with students from over 30 different countries, not only made her value and celebrate all people and perspectives but inspired her to appreciate the opportunities we have in the United States and to work to make it a better country for all. Lorie has dedicated her education and professional life to leadership and advocacy. Through her law practice, she has assisted the LGBT community, the elderly, children with special needs, veterans, and everyone in between! Beyond her practice, Lorie has always sought to be a leader and advocate.
