Ohio State Senate, District 5

Paul is ready to fight for progressive values in Ohio. He currently serves as a board member on the Miami Valley Fair Housing Center, the Dayton Human Relations Council, and the City of Dayton Plan Board. For six years, he also served as U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown's Regional Representative for southwest Ohio, forging partnerships with constituents in Miami Valley and the surrounding counties. Together with Senator Brown’s team, Paul offered creative solutions to problems and worked to strengthen the local economy and improve local neighborhoods. Three of Paul's top priorities are bringing good-paying jobs to the district, investing in public education, and fighting the opioid epidemic. As the progressive candidate in the race, Paul is stepping up to be a powerful voice for the residents of Ohio. In addition to gaining the endorsement of MoveOn members, he has also been endorsed by a wide range of organizations and individuals, such as U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, the Ohio Democratic Party, Launch Progress PAC, Dayton-Miami Valley AFL-CIO Regional Labor Council, and Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio.

"I heard him speak, and he understands the important issues I support. Education! Heath care!" –Mindy from Covington
