Rachel is a millennial woman running for office for the first time. She has spent the past decade working in higher education, assisting international students in local universities. The experience has been transformative for her, as she now firmly believes that "when we learn about others, we also learn about ourselves." Rachel is one of the 19 courageous women that came out during the 2016 election to accuse then-candidate Donald Trump of sexual misconduct. She shared her story of how he forcibly kissed her while she worked at Trump Tower in 2006 as a young, recent college graduate. Rachel has been endorsed by BlueAmerica PAC, Emily's List, Gloria Steinem, Launch Progress PAC, and has been recognized as a Moms Demand Action "Gun Sense Candidate."
"I believe Rachel would be a caring and strong representative. She has shown that she is anxious to represent the needs of everyday people in her district. I also like that she is concerned about restoring Ohio's education system to the high standards of the past. She is very highly regarded by those people that have heard her speak and is well respected by those currently in office. Rachel listens to the needs of the people in her district and gives thoughtful responses to their questions." –Debra from Tiffin
