Since making Colorado her home, Stephany Rose has taken an active role in the community. In addition to teaching, in 2015 she founded For Our Children’s Children Enterprises, which is dedicated to creating an inheritable world for America’s future generations. She is active as a board member and participant for many local community organizations that promote and support justice and social equality for all. The many organizations and causes that have benefitted from her leadership include both the faith and secular communities like Project Impact, Raw Tools, Together Colorado, the Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Institute, the Colorado Springs Urban League, the YMCA Pikes Peak Region Education Task Force, and the Colorado Springs Black Advisory Council. Her participation in the district over the years has given Stephany Rose insight into the needs of the communities that comprise Congressional District 5.
